Airbnb cleaning in Paris, prices, organisation and checklist
Cleaning shapes your reviews more than any amenity. Prices, cleaning fees, turnovers between stays and a room-by-room checklist.

On the platforms, cleanliness is rated after every stay. A spotless home goes unnoticed, a forgotten detail ends up in the reviews. Cleaning is therefore not just a cost line, it is what protects your listing’s rating.
How much does cleaning a rental cost in Paris?
The price depends on four factors, the floor area, the number of beds to make, the expected standard and the time window. A studio and a four-bedroom flat with three bathrooms obviously do not take the same time.
Paris providers usually charge a fixed price per visit rather than by the hour. It is easier to read, and a good flat rate includes the time spent checking. Published rates start at a few dozen euros for a studio and rise with the floor area. Linen, laundry and supplies are often counted separately, so check the quote.
Setting your Airbnb cleaning fee
On Airbnb, hosts can add a cleaning fee to the nightly rate. It is paid by the guest and included in the total price shown. Set well, it covers the real cost of the visit without putting guests off.
- Match it to your real cost, cleaning, linen and supplies included.
- Think about short stays. An €80 fee weighs heavily on a €150 night. Some hosts set a lower amount for one or two nights, others set a minimum stay.
- Do not make up for sloppy cleaning with a low fee. Guests judge the result, not the price.
Organising turnovers between stays
The real constraint is the window between check-out and check-in, often a few hours in the middle of the day. Everything has to fit in it, cleaning, changing the linen, restocking and the final check.
- A schedule driven by bookings, updated with every new booking or cancellation.
- Two to three sets of linen per bed, one on the bed, one in the wash, one spare, so you never wait for a machine.
- A stock of supplies on site, with a restocking threshold.
- A report after each visit, with photos and anything that needs repairing.
The hotel checklist, room by room
The checklist is what makes cleaning consistent, from one visit to the next and from one team to another. Here is the core of ours, inspired by hotels.
Entrance and living areas
Floors vacuumed and mopped, every surface dusted, including high up. Windows and mirrors streak-free, remote controls and handles disinfected, cushions and throws back in place.
Kitchen
Worktops, hob and sink degreased. Oven, microwave and fridge checked inside, dishes clean and put away, bins emptied, coffee, tea and basics topped up.
Bedrooms
Beds made with clean, ironed linen, under the beds checked, wardrobes empty with hangers in place, bedside tables clear.
Bathroom
Toilet, shower and basin descaled and disinfected, seals and taps shining, not a single hair left behind. Clean towels folded, soap, paper and toiletries topped up.
The final check
One last walk through the home with a guest’s eye. Light, smell, temperature, Wi-Fi, keys. This is what makes the difference between clean and spotless.
Cleaning only, without management
You handle your own bookings and just need a reliable cleaning team? Casazurra offers a standalone cleaning service, with the same hotel standard. The price, the type of service and the options are set out in a quote, with no management commission.
